Now scheduling January 2027 builds. Scope in one week, production by week three.

Food & beverage

AI development for food and beverage

Food businesses run on thin margins and messy data. Menus differ across the POS, the website and three delivery apps, allergen information is out of date, and phones ring through the dinner rush. AI is useful here when it reads from one clean menu source and writes orders into the POS correctly.

We build ordering and reservation agents for phone and chat, a single menu and allergen data source synced to every channel, forecasting for prep and purchasing, and integrations with POS, delivery and reservation platforms.

Problems we solve in food & beverage

  • Phones ring unanswered during peak service.
  • Menu, price and allergen data differ between the POS, site and delivery apps.
  • Prep and purchasing are planned from memory, and waste follows.
  • Guest questions about ingredients get inconsistent answers.
  • Reviews and feedback across platforms are never read in aggregate.
  • Multi-location operators have no single view of what sells where.

What we build

Systems we build for food & beverage

01

Phone and chat ordering agent

Takes orders and reservations, handles modifiers and upsells from the live menu, and writes directly to the POS or reservation system.

02

Menu and allergen data source

One structured menu with ingredients and allergens, synced to POS, website and delivery platforms, with changes reviewed before publish.

03

Demand and prep forecasting

Forecasts by item, location and daypart from sales history, weather and events, feeding prep lists and purchase orders.

04

Guest question assistant

Answers on ingredients, hours and policies from the menu source only, declining when allergen data is incomplete.

05

Review and feedback analysis

Reviews across platforms classified by location, dish and issue, summarised weekly for operators.

06

POS and delivery integration

Two-way connections to POS, online ordering and delivery platforms, with sales data landed in one warehouse.

Client names stay under NDA. The shapes do not.

PropertyWeb

Hospitality directory

Verified-only ingestion. An unconfirmed listing never renders; the rule is the product.

Food & beverage questions

Something else? Email t@moher.ai and an engineer will answer it.

Which POS systems do you integrate with?

The common restaurant POS and online ordering platforms, through their partner APIs. We confirm API access for your setup in the first week.

How do you handle allergen accuracy?

Allergen answers come only from the structured menu source, never from model knowledge. If an item's data is incomplete, the assistant says so and refers the guest to staff. That rule is tested in the eval suite.

How is payment data handled?

Card payments stay with your PCI-compliant POS or payment provider. The AI layer never sees or stores card numbers.

Does this work for a single location?

The ordering agent and menu source work for one location. Forecasting and cross-location reporting pay back more at multi-unit scale.

What does a first engagement look like?

Usually the menu data source and the ordering agent together, since the agent depends on clean menu data. Four to eight weeks.
