AI product engineering
AI product engineering that survives production
The demo is not the hard part. The hard part is authentication, rate limits, cost per request, evaluation, failure modes, observability, and who carries the pager. That is the eight months between a room getting excited and anything reaching a user.
- Full-stack application
- Agents with scoped authority
- Retrieval and evals
- Native mobile

Got it. An engineer is reading your brief.
You will hear from us within one business day, usually sooner. If it is urgent, email t@moher.ai.
Signs you need this
We build on the far side of that line. Typed end to end, evaluated before feature two, deployed on every push, and running in your accounts under your name from the first commit.
- A prototype nobody trusts in production
- Impressive in a demo, unreliable on real input
- Cost per request unknown or unbounded
- No eval harness, so every change is a coin flip
- A repo you were handed and can't run
- Mobile and web quoted as two separate budgets
What you get
What is included
Full-stack application
TypeScript throughout. Next.js and React on the front, Postgres behind it, edge deploy on push.
Agents with scoped authority
Auditable actions against your systems. Permission boundaries, human gates on anything irreversible, a full trail of what ran and why.
Retrieval and evals
Retrieval that returns the right context rather than the most similar text, plus a harness you can run yourself.
Native mobile
iOS and Android through both stores. Submission, review handling and phased release included.
Cost modelling
Per-request economics written down on day one, with the caching and model-tier levers costed.
Handover that runs
Runbooks, architecture notes, a local environment that starts. Not a zip file and good luck.
How it runs
How we deliver AI product engineering
- 01
Scope in a week
One session, then a written scope: what ships, what doesn't, what it costs.
- 02
Thin slice live
One real path end to end with auth, logging and cost tracking wired. Usually week three.
- 03
Widen weekly
Increments measured against the eval harness. If a change doesn't move a number, it doesn't stay.
- 04
Handover or retained run
To your team with docs and a walkthrough, or keep us running it. Written in from day one.

AI product engineering questions
Something else? Email t@moher.ai and an engineer will answer it.
What makes Moher different from other AI development companies?
We ship running software rather than recommendations, and you own the repositories, cloud accounts and domains from the first commit. We also run our own products on the same stack, so the patterns we recommend have already been tested against our own traffic.
Do you build mobile as well as web?
Yes. Native iOS and Android through both app stores, sharing a codebase with web where the product allows it.
Who owns the code?
You do, from commit one. We don't run engagements from behind a platform you can't leave.
How fast can you start?
Scope in a week, first production deploy usually inside three to four. The team is small on purpose, so onboarding isn't a month of meetings.
Will you compete with us?
No. We build for your market, never in it, and we decline engagements that would place us opposite a client in their own category.
Tell us what you need built
Four quick questions and an email. An engineer reads every brief and replies within one business day with next steps, and a written scope follows within a week.
- Written scope and price within a week
- Production deploy by week three
- Your repo and cloud from the first commit
- Senior engineers only, no account managers
